We’re very excited to announce that from 17 to 20 August 2023, ISHA’s Summer Seminar will take place in Prague. This event is co-organised by FFabula Spolek Studentů Historie and the ISHA 2023 Officials.

Applications will open on June 5th and close on June 18th, 23:59 CET. Applicants have to submit a motivation letter (150-300 words), a top 2 of the workshops they would like to participate in. Applicants provide a detailed abstract of the topic they would like to develop and present in each workshop (circa 300-500 words) . Acceptance letters are mailed out in the start of July the latst.

Local Students: Local students are welcome to participate in all the events. They do not need to pay the participation fee if they provide their own accommodation and meals, but they do need to apply with an abstract to the workshop of their choice. They can attend in the social and cultural events, and will receive a seminar certificate if they attend 80% of the academic program.
Freelancers: Those who wish to freelance at the seminar, please contact us at info@isha.international. Freelancers are often more seasoned members that only attend parts of the seminar program and do not qualify to receive a seminar certificate.
ACCOMODATION
Accomodation: University accomodation Koleje Hvězda. Single and double rooms are available, with shared bathrooms.

ACADEMIC PROGRAM
All events in the Academic Program (opening lecture, workshops, How-to-ISHA and the training session will take place at Charles University, right in Prague’s historical city centre, Náměstí Jana Palacha 2, 116 38, Praha 1. Participants who wish to receive a certificate of attendance will need to attend 80% of the academic program.

CULTURAL PROGRAM
The cultural program will consists of a historical city tour on Friday afternoon, and a cultural activity on Saturday afternoon.
SOCIAL PROGRAM
Get to know each other better during the Ice Breaking Party on Thursday evening, the different themed Pub Crawls on Friday, and the National Food and Drinks Party on Saturday evening. For the NFDP, participants are invited to bring local culinary delicacies from their home country or region.
